OTT
(over-the-top)

OTT is a term used to describe the transmission of video over the public Internet.

This is provided through high-speed Internet rather than through a cable or IP service provider.

This broadcasting television content and linear television programs

are also increasingly popular with operators who, until recently, provided only IPTV, DVB-C.

It looks like this new method of retransmission seems to be the new standard to be followed by all pay-TV providers.

It can be expected that with extensive media coverage of services such as Netflix, HBO Go, Disney Plus, etc., OTT is the future of television distribution models, even for regular operators.
